Weddings, Its not that Easy.

Is it wedding season now? Every month is a wedding season.

Went to a wedding yesterday, a wedding of old friends, their son, of mom and dad. Met with the aunties and uncles who last seen me when I was 13. All were surprise to see how tall I've grown and what a woman I have become. Yes dear aunties and uncles, I am no longer that curly haired girl with spectacles on. I am now a grown woman. So of course, all the usual questions were asked, "where are you working now?", "What do you do?", and the most common questions, "Bila lagi?"And like always, my answered will be this "Definitely not now aunty" or "Belum jodoh lagi aunty, but don't worry, I will surely invite you" or, "Tak de sapa nak lagi la uncle". Yeah, that would be the common Q&A sessions.

Weddings, when we talked about weddings, usually, the ladies will be the one to get over hyped about it. When we were little, we have set our dream weddings. What it would be like, what will be the theme, where, how, when, who. All those questions have already been answered. BUT! that was when we were still in our teeny boppy life. Now, we still have those dream weddings we fantasized about, the BIG BUT here is, we have finally came down to reality and realize, wedding is a big thing. We want it to be perfect, but we have budget constraint. We want to make it simple, but we still want it to be remembered by the guests.

Then we have another problem, who do we want to get marry to and when. Before, we always planned we wanted to get married at this age or this age, "I plan to get marry when I'm 25 or 26". Then, suddenly everyone becomes career minded and pushed the age to 30. Or, maybe some of us are not that career minded, like me, but we don't have our potential candidate and therefore the age got pushed back too. It is easier said than done.

All these problems come to mind when we talk bout weddings. Its not as easy as it seems. In the end, weddings and marriage would be the last thing on our mind, and just enjoy being single, while it last. But, when the time comes, everything will fall in its place.

To all the lovely couples out there, who are getting married, the ones who are busy planning for their weddings, and the ones that were already married, congratulations! Have a wonderful life together, may happiness will always be with the both of you and your future children. Marriage binds to people who are in love, but it won't always be smooth sailing. There will be some rough patches along the way. Just hang in there. Be there for each other always, InsyaAllah, everything will be fine.

Toodles~

Friends a.k.a Girlfriends

In life, one of the important things that you need the most is true friend or friends. Some may have just one true friend, some may have more than one. I am lucky enough that I have more than one. It is countless if I have to count how many true friends I have. From school days till working life, I have been blessed with many great friends who were there during all my ups and downs and guess what, we still keep in touch till these days~

What is the meaning of friends? According to Wikipedia "Friends are partners in friendship, an interpersonal relationship between humans". So, sometimes, your life partner can also be considered as your best friend.

What are true friends? True friends are those who stick by your side like a glue no matter what situation you are in. They are the ones that you can count on to whenever you're in trouble. They are the ones that you look for to share your joy and happiness with. They will also be the ones you continuously fought with but later on you hug and make up and laugh at both stupidity. They are the ones who will laugh together with you through happy times and cry with you through bad times.

True friends are also those who understand you without even trying. They know who you are despite what others say about you. They are the ones that you can put your trust in. They will be the one that will listen to your stories willingly without being ask. They are the ones that will say it straight to your face on what's best for you, even if the truth hurts, but they did so because they care.

I would like to thank all you girls who have been by my side all these years. Laugh and cry together with me in every situation. To my childhood friends, Nana, Naz, Mai and Mai, Aina, Yan, Yana, Nad, Mas, Ita, Anis, Sarah, Ira, and Hani, thanks for being my friends when we were still "kanak2 hingusan". To my college friends, Farhana, Farid, Ein, Riry, Nana, Aima, Dayah, Aina and Ainaa, Amira, Aida, Wan, Linda, Maryam, and Hana, thank you for always hear me ranting on the boredom of studying Law and helping me getting through that "crisis". To my Kpop freaks, Nina, Mag, Nedd, Mimi, Lynn, and Kmar, thank you for laughing and crying together over our Oppas~ Go crazy and spend quite a lot on them too! To my colleagues, Neena, Aizat, Shasha, Aressa, Ella, Ieda and 20 others, we went through a lot of ups and downs for the past 6 months but we can still laugh and have fun together still. All of you (sorry if I left out any names) were here for me during the times I really needed you girls the most. You were there when I'm at the top and still here with me when I'm down below. I am thankful to have met all of you.

To me, this is the meaning of friends. These girlfriends are my best friends. I have not 1 BFF but many and I'm happy, and we're all just one big happy family. You can have a lot of friends but not all of them can be consider as true friends.

Friends Forever, ya'll~

OBSESSION

My k-pop obsession is getting worst I think~ I think!

See, I spent quite a sum of money for Super Junior. Super Show 2 and now 3 (yay!! 19th Mac!!), ligtsticks, balloons, t-shirt, jersey, banner, cds, dvds. I don't know if I total that up, how much everything had cost me. Then, here comes Big Bang. Didn't spent as much as Super Junior, cause you see, I'll will always be an E.L.F before being a V.I.P. I have 2 albums, 1 got it as a present, and the other bought it online. That's bout it. BUT! I will spend on their Uniqlo's t-shirt and a possible fan meet this June, and that may cost me a lot too but it still can't beat Super Junior.

How did my obsession begun? Thanks to the writers' strike in US back in 2008, stopping all the tv series, I was lured to the K-pop world, and the rest is history. Some people say its unhealthy, but to me, they make me happy, and I am happy. They make me laugh, they make me cry, they make me mad, they make me go "pfft". They're actually fun.

Because of K-pop, I met a lot of new friends. When I say a lot, its really a lot. Same age, older and younger too. They too are the ones that somehow have become my sisters and my girlfriends. We called ourselves, the SuJu Wifeys'. Don't need to elaborate more bout us. We share the same interest, we laugh and we cry together because of our obsession at first, but now, we laugh and cry with what has been going on in our life. Yup! I made good friends with them where we understand each other.

This obsession has become an addiction, from one group to another group, to a solo singer, to another solo singer, to a drama and so on so forth. But hey, as long as my obsession doesn't disturb the life of others, its all good.

And now! I am excited for both Super Junior and Big Bang. This 19th Mac we'll have Super Show 3 and June, Big Bang and 2NE1 showcase + fan meet~! And right now, SJ-M new album a
nd Big Bang new mini album~ Aiyo~~~~~~

I still love it tho!
